I'm missing the four screws circled in pic related to mount the stock fan, i'm switching back to air cooling. is there a way i can get them at a hardware store? they are the ones that came with the motherboard, which is a GA-78LMT-USB3

Just use woodscrews, the way it's meant to be screwed™.
Those are standard 1/10 X 1/20 screws. Don't listen too anyone saying woodscrews etc.

thanks, all this tech stuff has really been driving me nuts since my liquid cooler's pump failed. i'll be putting my stock amd fx 6300 fanfor now and then switching to a cooler master hyper cooler t4, which comes with it's own bracket.

Get a magnetic screwdiver while you are at it. Will save you lots of headaches.
