Whatever happened to all those korean 1440p 144hz monitors? I can't find them for sale anywhere anymore.
Looking for something nice to game on with those specs, would like to spend under $500.
Amd or nvidia?

Yeah, or whoever.

I haven't picked yet. I have two 380x right now but probably need to upgrade to max out 1440p 144hz. I don't really care between AMD or NVIDIA.

gotta pick homie

remember to only get the DVI ones, anything that accepts other inputs can't be overclocked
FYI most can reliably clock to 120hz [ive heard of a few that can't go above 100 without screen glitches], and if you're lucky you can hit 144.
I have two and I love them, I bought one of those meme acer 34" gsync 3440x1440 100hz monitors. The image quality on both panels is very similar, and motion looks the same. Still a bargain in 2016.

What kind of screen glitches? Do you overclock within the monitor itself or using your computer?
Also, are the refresh rates preset, or do you increase 1 by 1 until you get these glitches?

How does freesync/gsync or whatever play into things? What does it do?
