Got it for around $900, but it stuff are more expensive here.
Oh forgot to mention the screen is QHD+
>>54812081
looks pretty good, nice job anon.
>>54812046
>not thinkpad
into the trash it goes
(actually it doesnt look complete shit but that keyboard looks uncomfy)
>>54812046
>mfw Razer is trying to sell the exact same product for $1199.99
>>54812131
Thinkpads are too expensive for me, and the keyboard feels good enough for me. Im more concerned about the surpar battery life with QHD+, but then again power outlets are everywhere in campus.
>>54812046
Should be good. Enjoy!
>>54812046
Looks nice enough. You don't need any particular specs for CS, so it's whatever you want to use for shitposting in class.
I bought an hp when i started college too
HP Envy 15 dontknowwhat
I7 4700 qm
8 gb ram
FHD screen
All 4 USB ports are usb3
Had the option to add nvidea graphics
Still going strong three years later

I have the same keyboard (Spectre x360) and it's very well sized and satisfying. Pretty damn good for a chiclet keyboard. The white backlight on silver keys is terrible though.

i got an i5, 16 gb ram, 256 gb ssd thinkpad with a discrete gpu for $600, used but in good condition
it is heavy as shit however
Battery life might be a bit disappointing. http://www.notebookcheck.net/HP-Envy-13-d000ng-Notebook-Review.156145.0.html#c2146137

It's rated 5 hours for WiFi surfing, I think that is good enough for me. Then again there's probably power outlets everywhere.
still using my 2013 spectre xt
had to superglue a hinge though (the part that connect the chassis to the screen is plastic while nothing else is????)
>HP
into the trash
>undervolted cpu
why
As long as you hackintosh it.
