Does FLAC sound better on Linux than Windows?
Someone post that screenshot of an audiophile undervolting his processor, downgrading to 512 MB of RAM and using PuppyOS just to get "better audio".

Yes and it sounds the best on Gentoo with correct CFLAGS.

PulseAudio is best, so yes.
True audiophiles only listen to CDs on the original Playstation

Windows
I have linux and windows on my pc and music on windows just sounds better
I have tried pulse audio and directly alsa and still windows just sounds better. I dont know maybe there some audio equaliser or something but it just sounds better. Also I have sound blaster cinema and its a really good (software) equaliser. Its easy to ussle and subtle enough not to distort audio too much.
Sadly audio equalisers on linux are still stick in 1998.
I have a large collection of 24bit audio. I have an m audio audiophile firewire soundcard. i play everything bit perfect through j river media centre on both windows and 7 and linux mint.
it pains me to say it but windows does sound better. WDM drivers in windows sounds better than asio drivers in linux.
Oh and fuck pulse audio and poettering.
