The sad thing is, these threads are completely redundant and worthless. We live in a world that has nearly limitless access to a world wide network of servers that host forums and pages for every conceivable topic one could ask for, and could be readily made if for some reason it doesn't exist. That is cyberpunk as hell.
Any project that someone in these threads is working on can be posted elsewhere and linked. Hell, they could even be put in a different thread in /g/. Would definitely be a nice distraction from endless x vs y threads.
The only thing /cyb/ threads are good for is new music to listen to or images to look at.
