Need a new mouse with the best possible sensor. I checked your wiki and this graphic is what I found. How old is it?

Why is the zowie "stupid?" It's my mouse right now and I like the shape.

>>
>>54792827
Ok, I will look into it. Is there any other quality of a mouse I should be really interested in? Maybe weight and button quality.

What would you say is that overall best mouse? Your graphics on the wiki disagree with each other.

This.

I use the G500s. It's slightly less ugly, but 8200 DPI instead of 12000 in the 502. I dunno why anyone would ever need more than 3000 or so.

Really old. It doesn't list the avago ideal mice with "perfect" sensors i.e. ones that don't interpolate or skip units of measure. Look at this page for some details although it only lists OLD mice. geekhack.0rg/?topic=56240.0
Newer mice like lets say the Corsair Gaming Sabre Optical RGB [which also has a perfect sensor] isn't going to be featured.

Tfw fell for the Mamba jew

I really really wanted a wireless mouse because I use my computer for work and drawing and I wanted to be able to chuck the mouse aside and use its space for something else If i needed to

It started acting up like 4 or 5 months into owning it and I have been using it corded ever since

For all its worth its still going strong now after I think 3 or 4 years and not showing any signs of breaking apart, It still feels brand new when it comes to the clicking mechanisms and responsiveness etc

>>
>>54796909
That is too bad, if I were in your position I wouldn't buy their products again. I haven't had to deal with their customer service yet but I'm not surprised that its shit. Did they give you a refund or anything?
I guess it must have been the batch though because mine has been fine.
>>
>>54796949

No I haven't bothered contacting Logitech and I can't take it back to where I bought it because they went into receivership recently.

When it was in free-wheel mode, you could tell the wheel was unbalanced. If you scrolled and let go, then the wheel would find its balance point which resulted in your page scrolling up or down.

That was from day 1. I could deal with it because I just used the ratcheting function. It felt sloppy as hell and it wasn't a very nice experience but the mouse was comfortable so I got used to it.

Then the ratchet failed on 2 "clicks". So it would actually free spin during that part of the rotation. So with an unbalanced wheel and the ratchet not working the entire revolution, my page would scroll every so often. It also felt much sloppier than day 1, like it had severely worn out.

I feel bad for the people who were hyped and paid RRP only to end up with a dud.

I've got the EC-2 after using the g502 and I can definitely say I enjoy it more. The G502's shape wasn't bad and the sensor is obviously flawless but it often had issues on my surface and would require a re-tune. The logitech software annoyed me and the house was heavy. I didn't realise how much nicer a lighter mouse was until I played with the EC-2. I don't have a problem with the side buttons

why does everyone hate wireless mice here?
>>
>>54800141
I currently have to use one and it sucks. The mouse is half of my palm and I still have this weird habit of lifting my mouse to move the mouse cable. Also fuck wireless delay.
>>
Does a good sensor mean that the cursor won't get stuck in a fixed position in the middle if you move it left or right really fast?

This is very important in FPS games. A lot of times I embarras myself due to this and people say "where are you looking? He's to the right" after I slowly move my crosshair there.

wireless doesnt transfer by light, retard. and there are more physics laws than the speed of light.

he means the fact you have to convert it from electrical signals to wireless signal, that it takes longer for this signal to go through the air, and then covert it back again means you can never have as low latency as a wired mouse.

sorry but you're the one who argued that i didn't know the laws of physics, and then you literally got two incredibly basic laws of physics wrong in your post, now you act like 'oh that doesn't matter i was totally right about this other thing'.

the signal has to be encoded and decoded either way. usb has handshakes, packets etc just like a wireless signal does. there is no evidence that this particular process adds latency

the major issues with wireless mice right now are interference from other wireless devices, and lower polling rates (to conserve battery, mostly) - neither have any effect on latency, although the latter has an effect on accuracy and particularly acceleration (although not much)

you're just another brainded faggot on /g/ dishing out advice about consumer hardware but you don't know a fucking thing

good sensor as long as you dont make super fast twitch movements and stay under 1000 DPI.
