Fucking hate it with a passion, but it's the best in its class.

It does everything I want, but is unstable as fuck.

Literally anything on Android.
The best I've come around was apps that were so small and only did one task, that their awfulness didn't shine so brightly.

You babies know nothing about shit software.

This piece of shit has been hand crafted by the most evil people on the planet to torment the poor souls unfortunate enough to use a xilinx FPGA. This is not the sort of evil that comes from just being shit at making software, this is the kind of shit you get when a demon posseses a harddrive.

I hate every single person involved in making ISE
>>
>>54789415
well for one its proprietary.

but more importantly it's just hugely bloated, mostly with rice. It's a huge, complex program for doing a simple task.

That's what happens when your userspace is in Java.
Android needs to be scrapped and replaced by something else that uses LLVM instead of a JVM.
>>
>>54789426
Dude I know, we had to use xilinx ide at uni. Worst of all was that we had tot use an older free version. If you wanted tot switch projects you had tot shut down the IDE because if you pressed the open project button the whole thing would crash

I loved how it would spew compiler vomit everywhere

I loved how the JTAG tool would simply crash for no reason.

I loved rebuilding the project from scratch because it magically stopped working

I loved how DEFAULT INDENT WAS THREE FUCKING SPACES

I FUCKING LOVED HOW THE FUCKING WAVEFORM ANALYSIS TOOL WAS MADE BY THE FUCKING ANTICHRIST

You guys have probably never used Synopsys or Agilent tools.
All EDA tools are shit from the software and usability point of view. But you can't do anything without them.
>>
>>54789816

I'm talking about ISE, not the synthesizer which is a pretty nice piece of tech.

I've just decided that life is too short to use ISE or whatever vomit xilinx spews in my face, so now I just write chisel in vim and build with CLI.

It's still slow, but not crashy and awful like ISE

Who cares?

The size of the installer is 3.7 MB. You call that hugely bloated?
>>

>I have never done actual work on a cumputer

I really envy anyone who hasn't seen anything worse than a fucking music player
>>
>>54789502
It starts up instantly, takes up around 10 MB both in RAM and on disk, and gives you everything from gapless playback to a built-in EBU R128 ReplayGain scanner for your trouble.
I mean, I guess you could call that bloat, but the competition is stuff like fucking Clementine.

I just recently tried clementine and although it has a nice interface and some cool features it "buffered" my local music whenever I seeked and took 98-100% cpu at all times.

Linux. Pic related happened the last time I tried to install and use it. Autistic developer allowed his program to be included in the stable branch known for infrequent package updates, gets mad at infrequent package updates, breaks program for everyone and throws a giant temper tantrum on the Internet over it.

At least one autistic dumbass can't break Windows.
