I managed to accidentally purchase the AT2020 XLR instead of the isn version.
Should I just sell it and buy the USB one or should I learn how to use a USB mixer and keep the admittedly better microphone?
Buy an interface, if you can afford it reasonably
Just get a mixer, they are easy as fuck to figure out

I've got both versions of the AT2020 but use the XLR one with a USB mixer because I like having a hardware level control. Much easier to adjust when I'm in a call or playing vidya or whatever since I don't need to fuck around clicking through menus and shit
The USB one is convenient as fuck for my other pc though

Yeah, I don't think it'd be too hard, but I liked the option of portability from the USB one due to not using it for professional singing or anything like that.
The USB one costs $100 more so it's pretty much the same price as if I just buy a mixer and keep the XLR microphone.

Microphone-meme
you could build the same for 5 dollars m8
if you wish to waste money buy 3d microphone
Learning something new is always a good thing, op. Like learning how to deal with the fact that yo mum did it with like a thousand guys
just buy a xlr to USB adapter if that suits you
