If you actually had a purpose for your computer instead of just tinkering with it you might find a use for Linux. Otherwise have fun learning.

I've been using Windows 7 for years now and there's no issues, work, porn and Gaming all running smoothly and a decent Antivirus with MalwareBytes does the trick.
I used to do the same but I've been using Manjaro for 2 years now. Still love it.
