I had a Nexus 4 since it came out, and just replaced it with a Nexus 5x. I swear, they're almost identical in terms of real-world speed.
The Nexus 4 slid off any table I put it on while charging. That beautiful back was ridiculously slippery. It also overheated and reset itself on a regular basis. Fallout Shelter was absolute death for the thing.
The 5x has a shit ton of flaws (e.g. noise over headphones when media stops playing, WTF), but at least it hasn't overheated and reset itself yet.

I don't understand the appeal. There are like four different fonts on that faceplate. Marantz was just upper-end-consumer range anyway, and chances are those switches would operate poorly by now anyway.

Yeah no. Who ever does their design is definitely better than they were a few years ago, especially the lid of the R11, but they still make very poor design decisions when it comes to the sides, edges, and bottom of the device.

The Amazon store only has outdated apps that are maintained by pajeets and the APKs you find online are sometimes a few versions behind the current.
But still, even with the play store installed, you could be served with apps that are 'broken' on the phone.
Example for this: Telegram has issues showing the stickers and emoticons because they are shown in the area where your hardware keyboard sits. Changing the size of the app is a workaround.
