Only difference is that mechanical keyboards are louder.

You can get god-tier membrane kb for 10$

If you seriously think that there is no difference between mechanical and non mechanical keyboards then you're a fucking idiot who doesn't even know what he's talking about.
Just fucking google it, I don't want to explain it to you. You probably won't understand it anyway.
>>
>>54756390
I reccomend TITANUM gayming one cost about 5$ they have 2$ keyboards too but I did not test them
if you want gayming lights you will pay 7$+

It is basically Genius KB-G235+
with gayming look,more buttons

I do not look on my keyboard while typing so no need for light,if you do consider other brand

You're just refusing to even think about what I said.

Like I said, google it. If I would try to explain it to you then you would just say "hurr another no argument".

>>54756533 I know mech keyboards very well
if you have some actual argument it is time to pull it of or just run Barry
>>
>>54756586
They use switches that a lot of people simply prefer over non mechanical ones. You might like them because they're easier to press or because some switches give you more feedback. If you're too dumb to understand that then you should literally consider suicide.
>>
>>54756641
Different guy, but I don't really understand the appeal of browns. Blues at least have a satisfying click to them, but browns just feel like reds with sand stuck in them.
>>
>>54756641
I uderstand this completely, that is your god-like argument i ve been waiting for?

You just do not type faster or get better reaction time just because you feel like it is better
also most of feedback comes from the sound , it is why i mentioned it

you think that every keyboard with membrane switches feels the same and and provide same feedback?

if you do,click here
>Suicide Button
>>
>>54756676
>You just do not type faster or get better reaction time just because you feel like it is better
That's not the only reason for using a mechanical keyboard though. A lot of people simply use it because they think it feels better to type with them.
>also most of feedback comes from the sound , it is why i mentioned it
A lot of feedback also comes from how it feels
>you think that every keyboard with membrane switches feels the same and and provide same feedback?
No. What's your point?
>>
>>54756746
My point?
From price point It is obv one as decent mech keyboards cost 15-30x more than decent membrane

because you do not even test all keyboards in the world you can be never sure if you have the one worth the price

I can make review that iphone touch-screen keyboard is best, you may prefer blackberry querty

So It is not smartest buy when there are no reliable benchmarks in this matter

it is pretty unprobable that people who buy those keyboards ever tested them
there may be rare cases like 'i ve been in friends home and he had cherry switch x'
or you could try one or two in shop
but that is not really how it works in most cases

My point is simply
>you buy overprices rabbit in the box
>get placebo feel because:expensive
>good job
while you could get same placebo effect from
membrane keyboard that is not even near the price point

then we are back to my original statement

>Do you really want/need it?

if yes,no problem but do not try to tell me there is some good reason behind it and if I think otherwise then I m stoooopid while it is matter of preference nothing more nothing less

Ofcourse if they release 'mind reading keyboard' that will just type what i will it to type'
then It will become reasonable buy
It will also get me into many problems in chat with friends
'good ass'
what?
'you screwed it up'
>>
>>54756967
I'm not saying everyone should buy a mechanical keyboard. I agree that it's a matter of preference but you can't say that it has no real benefits for it's price. That may be true for you but it's not true for everyone. A lot of people for example play rhythm games where a mechanical keyboard is so much better that other keyboards are almost unusable in comparison.

So yeah it might be overpriced and not that much better for you but that's not the case for everyone.
>>
>>54757129
Alright,I think we both agree on this.
so back to OP
He wants mech keyboard under 35$
and I simply think he will be not happy with his purchase at that price point and could get something with higher quality but membrane

If he is willing to up the budget by 15$ to 50$ my reasoning here can change,as there are some okish ones at that price point.
>>
>>54757262
Yeah there's no point in buying a mech keyboard for under 35$

>>
>>54757129
I'll have to disagree a bit there.

I used to play Osu!Mania and got to rank 6000 (i know, ain't shit, but it's still decently high) on a Sidewinder X6. Membrane. 65g. Not too shabby for a supposedly shitty platform. I think most of it lies in skill and not equipment, although I can say I'd probably have a hell of a lot less fatigue if I had a lighter keypress.

(Then again, I legit can't play with a mech now because my timing is almost entirely reliant on pressing it down all the way. I hit early when I try a mech.)

>>
>>54758567
Mech keyboard can definetely make you better in rhythm games. Of course it also depends on skill but even switching from Kailh blue switches to MX Reds made a big difference.
