If it doesn't, you can always just build your own package. If you got the Intuos CTL-490 like I do (bought it on Sunday), the GUI settings don't work though, doesn't recognise it.
You can still use and configure it on the command line though. I've spent a couple hours today making a bash script to automatically set the tablet to the current window.

There was a one-line command that I could've used to just bind it to one of my monitors, but I decided to try this instead.

I really like my Linux install for working as it is a bit snappier than Windows, easier to maintain / update, has better tools for programming and I like to be able to customize it easily.
I only use my W7 install about once a week or so to play some games, but nothing else.

Linux kernel has support for Wacom drivers already; simply enable it in modules.d.
To play TF2 you will need dxtn and s3tc texture compression support so you will need a multilib distro, preferably one with those packages in repositories if you're a dumbass. osu! requires wine and a few tricks to reduce X input latency and minimize mouse acceleration as well.

Not saying linux is better for games right now but windows's biggest "feature" which is exclusivity and market lock-in is growing weaker. The thing is that now those who use linux can play a good number of videogames without depending on windows and i'm not even counting games that works in wine or emulators. If the egg-chicken situation breaks at some point it'll be beneficial even for windows users because at this moment windows is practically a monopoly.

Wacom works fucking great in GNOME. So install Ubuntu GNOME or Debian Jessie with GNOME and open the settings and there should be wacom settings.

Maybe try out the new Ubuntu. Xubuntu or Ubuntu Mate are some good choices if you don't like the official spin.
One reason I would recommend Ubuntu over something like Debian is that it would be easier for a first time user to get up and running with the latest proprietary drivers, and it sounds like you're a gamer so that's probably more what you're looking for.
