(Yes, I really run a 128GB RAMDisk for my workstation. It takes 3 minutes to load it up with my files, but I save far more than 3 minutes while working over the course of an hour simply because of the 10x performance boost, and I rarely reboot.)

yeah in AIDA64 I get like 58,000MB/s read speeds. Quad channel DDR4 is pretty good on the bandwidth front.

Windows: NTFS, but try EXFAT & ReFS.
