Got a huge fps and overall performace boost in my n2840 laptop.
World of tanks went from 10-30 to a playable 20-40fps.
Also CS:GO runs smooth now, no hickups.
A nice addition but not necessary in my desktop.

Shit loads faster, frames from stuttering -can- be through texture loading if old enough. It's unique to unoptimised games in addition to older gpus/CPUs, but still possible.

After I reinstalled GTA V to my SSD I swear the game is smoother. With exactly the same settings as before I get a steady 60fps, compared to the 40-50fps I got when it was on my HDD, and also the jag lines from the textures were fixed. I didn't do anything except reinstalling the game to the SSD, no driver change or settings change.

Nah SSDs are good, I just hope you didn't pay too much. Literally the only thing that matters is capacity and failure rate, everything else is placebo. All SSDs are fucking rapid so that's why you don't need to even look at speeds and shit.
