how much of a big difference is it? it looks more complicated so im afraid i might accidentally allow shit i don't want. been thinking of switching to ublock
You can also just use ublock origin by itself to block ads, requests, and scripts, that's what I do. If umatrix supported ad filters I'd probably only use that though. I hate having to mess with two extensions to unbreak stuff.
ublock also supports importing requestpolicy filters so you don't have to restart from square one.

well is ublock origin abp with install the addon, sub to w/e filters and then move on?

what
>>54729240
don't use ublock use ublock origin, its much better.
ublock origin is very simple, easier than ABP actually. it doesn't break 99.99% of websites, and is incredibly light.
uMatrix is pretty good once you get most of most sites configured to just work. In the beginning its a colossal PITA.
Using both is redundant and is a waste of memory.
Pick one, you don't need both.
If your gonna use umatrix don't install noscript, just block scripts with umatrix.

so i can get by with unblock origin alone? it acts as ad blocker and script block too?
Why exactly is ABP bad?
>>54729565
Yes, it's plug-in-and-forget
>>54730472
its not really abp i dislike it just requestpolicy breaks to often
