Don't enter the key here or you'll have to call it in. Just click 'skip' or 'enter later' or whatever.

Once windows is installed, go to computer then 'properties' then click the activation on the bottom of that dialogue and then you won't have to call it in.

Why does Microsoft do this??

I'm not that great at explaining things: During windows setup don't enter the key. Enter the key after it's installed.

Or you could just use a MAK for Pro/Enterprise and never deal with activation, ever.

Or you crack it
>>
>have W7 ultimate
>activated it
>disabled updates
>never had a problem
>most compatibility with games and programs

feels good

I'm just saying this process works for the random in-shop customers.

We use OEM volume licensing for our enterprise customers that are tied to the brand we sell so the discs activate them automatically.
