I got a lenovo thinkpad x131e from school. Now that i have finished school, i have to either give the laptop back, or buy it for 59 USD.
My x131e still works fine, and i am happy with its performance (Dont tell me its a slow piece of crap, because thats all i need.).
The real question is: do you guys think i could get something better (laptop) for 59 USD, asuming this laptop would not break for the next two years.

Buy it.
Also what school did you finish? Gender studies?

It's AMD and designed to break after you bought it.

I finnished the so called "gymnasium" in sweden. (I gues it is equivalent to the high school in the us). And as i am a typical swede i thaught about studying gender... No just kidding. I choose the science programe.

Had any bad experience with AMD before?

SWEDEN YES

I was joking. I did have a Samsung laptop with an E-450 APU that had a bad display after a 2 years, though it's probably the fault of Samsung. It's still too slow for me for web surfing. Nowadays 4-core Intel Baytrail Atom laptops have twice the performance at lower power consumption.

Is 'Gender Studies' even a thing anywhere outside the US?

Yes in sweden at least. Its a huge thing. And absurd.

Never heard of it here in Germany.

I have a Thinkpad T400. These things are going for like 70-100 dollars on ebay.
>intel processor
>4gb memory (upgraded mine to 8)
>150ish gb storage
I used rufus and ISOs to make a bootable USB drive to install Kali and Windows 7. Had it all set up in about 2 hours.
