I actually sometimes have to connect to servers in Miami and L.A. over VPN and while the ping might be higher because of distance it's usually between 50-80 and i can download stuff from servers there about 60-80Mbps and i have a 100Mbps connection. But if I try same thing from lets say Brazil the connection is shit... 2-6Mbps and ping is over 300 by default. I once tried Korea and the ping is high as hell but speed is bit better, however if I connect a server in Tokyo Japan then the ping is about 120 -190 and speed are actually much better around 40-50Mbps.
I'm currently in Helsinki sitting in metro using my phone to type so I won't be able to provide any pics.
