Why do these pieces of fuck break fucking constantly. Any time I get a new phone they manage to break within the first month. It's not even due to carelessness because I barely even use them.
I even bought a jack plug for when I'm not using it because they attract lint like a fucking magnet. Sure enough as soon as I go a few days without using the plug, the jack breaks.
What the fuck is the deal? This happens to almost everyone I know, too
Honestly, that's what I call a cool story bro. Such a riveting tale, I honestly copy and pasted it to word, saved on my hard drive, backed it up on a jump drive, drove to the bank, put the jump drive in the safe deposit box, and will leave it there until my kids turn about 12 (when they can actually state their age, and ask what it is I'm showing them), when I will pick it up, put it in an old USB drive reader and relay this cool story to them and tell them, "kids, this is what a cool story should look and sound like...not like the stories your generation tells.
And here I thought you couldn't get any more retarded than the people that constantly destroy micro usb cables.

Don't be a faggot
>>54706422
I bet you also drop your phone a few times every day and wonder why the screen broke
>>54706422
I've literally had my mobile for 4 years and the piece of shit still works, what the hell do you do with them? You know you cant pregnate it right?
>>54706521
I have never dropped a phone before in my life. Grip of steel.
>>54706526
I wish I fucking knew. It's not like I use the jack more than once a week. I don't misuse it or anything either. Plug the headphones in, and unplug them when I'm done
Do you have a Samsung OP?
>>54706422
Is this the new version of the "headphone ports are what make phones so thick" meme?
>>54706422
>23 years on this earth
>Not once have I broken an audio jack
The problem is you.
>>54706422
>cant take care of your shit
lmao
>>54706422
Stop going swimming with your electronics you fucking moron.
You know tugging on any cable or port will fuck it up right? Are you mentally hand capped?
I've owned at least 10 cellphones over the past 10 years and I've never ever ever broken a 3.5mm jack or USB port. Flip phones, Sonys, Samsungs, iPhones, LGs, etc, and I constantly listen to music on my phone.
>>54706494
You're the faggot, faggot. Pic related it's you.

You're just a faggot. I broke a male headphone jack off into mine, got it stuck as fuck, used a drill to get it out, and it still worked fine. I don't know what you're doing wrong.
>>54706566
yes
>>54706422
My GS3's jack is fine. I listen to music nearly everyday. What the fuck are you doing to yours?
>>54706422
niceme.me
trs jacks are literally the simplest electronic connector to repair.
I've never managed to completely break a 3.5mm jack but I've broken loads of 1/4" jacks and they're a cinch to fix
Other than the solder joint, what is there to break?
Breaking a solder joint for a surface mount component is not the same as breaking jack itself
My X2014 still work tho
>>54706422
You're a fucking gorilla. End of story.
>>54706422
We need to force 6.3 jack so phones will have enough spare space for normal battery and wouldn't die after 4 hours of use.

Maybe the phones you buy are just shit
I hope they eliminate them so we can finally have a truly thin phone.
>>54706422
fucking monkey hands how about you learn not to force the goddamned socket like a mentally challenged bonobo trying to shove a banana up it asshole
>>54708393
lol nice, do you want it transparent too?
:^)
I don't even remember being even close to breaking one audio jack. How are you that retarded to break a headphone jack. I don't know anyone who's ever broke one. Kill yourself so your genes can't be passed on.
>>54706422
Stop buying appleshit.
Just use Bluetooth?
lol why is this even a thread
>>54706422
In all my years owning electronics, I have never once experienced this problem.
Idk what you niggas are doing to those connectors. I've had cables give out multiple times, but never the connectors on the cables or phone.
>>54706422
Well I cannot say Ive ever broke a jackhole like ever.
But technically it was never meant for portable use,its just a smaller version of the beefy 6,3mm jack used in telephone exchange
furthermore any small rotation in the connection/jack interface can cause static noise in the crappier jack/holething connections
But hey,it least its a fkkn standard, better than having 20 standards and having to fuck around with passive/active adaptors
How do I prevent headphones from going mono all the time?
>>54706422
I have never in my life broken one.
It's carelessness on your part anon, 100% guaranteed. Or you buy nothing but shit-tier products.
>>54706566
Gotta convince us somehow right?
>>54706422
Please tell me this is bait. You're not actually retarded are you?

Some cell phone company's doing market research to see if we'll fall for a new headphone connector meme.
>>54706422

What you're not telling us is the constant torsion put on the cable while it's plugged in, I'm sure. Like when women go all "what's wrong with my phone? I just put it in my bra and sweat non stop into all the open ports for hours at a time! Technology and me don't get along haha haha haha have you met my 42 kids?"
How the fuck do you break a jack?
>>54706575
/thread2.9
>>54717829
You don't. This is a meme post because Apple is getting rid of the headphone jack because "muh innovation".
>>54706422
I have literally never had an audio jack break on me in my entire life.
You're either lying or a careless dumbass.
>>54717829
It can happen if you pemanently exert force on the plug, like stick it in and pull it out a dozen times a day, carry your phone so that a sideways force works on the plug, etc.
What happens then is that the little springy lips inside that make contact with the 3 or 4 sections of the plug get worn out and fail to make contact. It happened to an extension cord I wasn't carful with where the plug and socket were under constant stress.

They don't the only 3.5mm jacks that have ever broke on me was
-Front audio panel on my 7 year old, chink knockoff PC case back in 2006
-My ipod nano when it went through the wash in my shorts.
Stop being retarded and take your headphones out of the jack before stuffing them in your pocket, you retard.

In my short life of around 20 years, I have managed to break a single headphone jack. And it was by accidentally dropping a trigonometry textbook in such a way that it landed on my headphone cable, snapping it but not before lifting and flinging the Nexus 7 it was attached to with such force that the back cover was snapped off and the headphone jack was literally ripped from the board.
I must logically conclude you're a fucking retarded chimp.
