no dependently typed languages either

Who's that?

I used OCaml and Haskell in university, found it very clean, descriptive and precise coming from a "regular" programming language background and not from a mathematical one.

What's the state of GUIs in these languages? I've read about using bindings to imperative languages, but is this approach the general consensus in the community?

There is LablGtk in OCaml for instance. This is a binding but what would you expect? Python and Ruby use bindings as well and they are considered imperative rather than functional (they only support functional type of programming)

Rust is the only good functional programming language to be quite honest with you family.
>>
>>54705547
Rust isn't a functional programming language, it just uses a lot of functional concepts.

Functional programmers think their time is more valuable than the users'.

It is as much of a functional programming language as ocaml.

are there any good free scala books?
I'm getting interested in the functional paradigm, and after looking at
>https://jobs.functionalworks.com/#/job-board
in the OP, it seems like the least useless choice
>>
>>54706894
More like least useful.
>>
>>54702060
so can I write gui stuff with func programming or even lets say a scalable project for a bank or something ?

Or its only for terminal programs that calculate factorials and pi ?

So, how's work going?
