The motherboard tray was one taken from a Lian Li case I had, the front panel was an absolute pain to get working. I ordered a custom made front panel adapter cable online and it didn't work for me, turns out you had to have the firewire connected or it wouldn't work, I never had firewire on my motherboard so I had to order a PCI firewire internal connector card and that got the power button and firewire port working, when plugging in the USB one it just fails to turn on and I have never bothered looking in to it anymore. All the USB's I will ever need are on my desk on a hub.

I usually go for Nikon gear because you can use lenses going back to the late 70s without modification and back to 1959 with slight modifications.
