If it's cheap it's not. And if you have Photoshop installed on your computer, you will use those 16gb of ram.
Not to mention it helps a lot if you keep a lot of browser tabs open. It's just better for multitasking.

It's a weird amount of RAM that's hard to really take advantage of.
It's too much to be even close to utilized under most normal workloads, and it's too little to make a noteworthy RAMdisk with. And the workloads that do take advantage of 16GB RAM would be better off with more as well.
