AppArmor or SELinux are the closest match
Docker is an alternative, but a different approach

AppArmor and SELinux closest to how Sandboxie works technically, but
Docker is probably the way to go in terms of the experience. You'll have to forward X but that is fairly easy to do.

AppArmor/SELinux comes down to which distro you are using. Redhat based goes SELinux, Debian based goes AppArmor
