What if the default is what you're after out of a smartphone, android or otherwise? What if you don't want to fuck around customizing the look, feel and functionality of your phone because you have other priorities?
There are different people in this world and even somebody invested in technology hobbies will have different priorities on tech as somebody with similar investment. You are allowed to be fiddling around with the cutting edge of electronics while still using a default 5500 Nokia phone or piece of shit 90s desktop with Windows 3.1.
