Alright /g/ hopefully someone can help me out. When I export my SQL database it only exports like half of it.
It may be because there are over 1.5 million entries in the database.
Does anyone know how I can export the entire database?
My only other option would be to export it piece by piece but that won't help me when I need to make backups.
Are you using mysqldump? It won't care how big your DB is.

I have been trying to export it through phpmyadmin. I will have to try that though.

Yeah there's your problem. Also if this is important and you're not doing automatic backups you're going to have a bad time. Check out the automysqlbackup script.

The php script has probably been either running out of memory (they have memory limits) or running for too long (they have time limits) which is why you're getting half the data.
phpmyadmin is not made for big databases.

Prolly have max export filesize set to HALF the actual size of your db.

The only reason is I use phpmyadmin is because godaddy already has it integrated. By the way go daddy is like the fucking worst!

Yeah man it's 2016 and no one uses shared hosting anymore since you can get a digital ocean or linode VPS for $5/mo.

Vultr VPSs are also Digital Ocean-tier cheap, so there's that to consider. It gets bonus points for letting you deploy arbitrary ISOs (even downloaded server-side from the Internet), rather than only allowing their own pre-made OS images.
