Hey /g/ents, I'm looking for a tablet to take advantage of the android apps not available on iOS and to shitpost on 4chan in style. I like the build quality and display of the Nexus 9 (has many of the aesthetic features I appreciate in Apple devices) but the battery life turns me off. Any similarly priced android tablets you recommend that are comfy?

Already have a MBPr and iPhone 6, looking for a decent android device to take advantage of the apps they have that us iOSfags don't. It will also provide a comfier shitposting experience when on the go than my iPhone if I don't care to use my MacBook. Also, I'm fucking sick of opening webms in VLC on my iPhone. I think you should consider the third iOS device. Besides, Apple does what Android doesn't. You're playing with power when you use a iPad and it is easy to use and comes right out the box with a minimum price of 17,000 dollars along with a 7,000 dollared pen.

The build quality on the N9 is actually not that great. I've seen a few comments that the back flexes and the performance of the tablet is mediocre. Samsung tablets are pretty good, but obviously you're gonna have to root them.
If I was going to get a Android tablet I would get the Pixel C with the keyboard. It looks great and probably has the most potential to be a productive machine. I opted for a Surface Pro 4 instead though since I wanted a full Windows/Linux environment on the go for school and work.

Yeah, I bought it a week ago, and installed all my comfy FDroid shit on it, (Aizoban, Csploit, Busybox, etc)
Battery life is phenomenal, lasts for about 6-7 hours on heavy usage.
Xiaomi's a trustworthy brand, I was skeptical, but the Piston 3 earphones and this changed my perception of the chinkshit they made desu.
