why BSD over my NEET linux distros?
Reminder that OpenBSD has FBI backdoors in it.

BSD is more niche - IE: you get more hipster cred.
>cuck license
>>54562900
Because Linux is too mainstream
>>54562900
Because your gullible, and will eventually fall for the install bsd meme.

I finally broke down and installed openBSD on my laptop.
I did it on my main machine. I didn't want to troubleshoot anything but it was hit and miss on modern hardware.
As a server on older hardware it is brilliant.
I wish it worked out.
>>54562900
Because it's easier to fully understand than a Linux distro because of the extremely precise documentation.
>>54564049
this and the fact that linux distributions are a moving target where there is little general consensus for most things. What works in a disribution may just not work on another distribution so you have to hope that there is documentation for your problem in your distro or that the docs from archwiki apply to your distro
I'm thinking of setting up something like SDF in my community/country.
They use NetBSD. I was thinking FreeBSD because of the easy management of jails (ezjail).
What do you think?
