What do you do when your Common sense 2016 pro edition antivirus fails you?
I got my computer infected yesterday and now I'm after a few antivirus scans, a fresh system install, another antivirus scan and now I downloaded another antivirus that is scanning my computer just to be sure.
So? Any tips? Any stories?

Just a one time accident. I rarely get viruses, once per 2 years or so. Also the torrent looked legit the only suspicious thing was that there were ~300 seeders and no comments, and the person who uploaded the torrent had only 4 torrents up.

That was stupid. The ONLY time I had a virus (and a worm) was because I wished to analyze whatever it was on the closed training network we had and eliminate it. They immediately jumped to a flashdrive when plugged in and I exposed it to a controlled environment, found a fix, and cleared it out. It was a pair from like 2004.
