I put rxtools on a 2ds like a few months ago. What's the difference between what you recommended and rxtools? Can still install and launch games with no problems.

rxtools is outdated, no one maintains it anymore, it's region free doesn't even work 100% of the time because it's a shitty hack.
Luma3DS has better features and region free coded right.
