Can we call bullshit on this yet?
Aw cute the AMDcuck doesn't believe that cards can run below 70C
Don't worry buddy I'd love to feel nice and toasty in the winter, too bad I can't and I'll evidently freeze to death.

It's a reference card, no reference car can run that low.
I wonder at what speed the fan was running at. It could be screaming at 100% or quietly at 40%.
>>54553268
It's a cooler designed for much higher TDP cards so it's quite possible it could be running that cool.

AMD cucks are just incredibly jelly of our wonderful barbecue cards, which is great to enjoy some chipolatas while playing Crysis! Stay MAD, AMD fags!

you can't use old memes to counter new memes my dude
It's a PrecisionX beta, probably wrong temp, BUT my 970 never goes above 67°C with fans at 45% so it's perfectly possible.

It`s a 180w card with a 20% overclock. Just throwing that out there. Chances are it was in an open air heavily temperature controlled scenario allowing it to run that low. Plus the fan could be running like a jet turbine.

by what means can you stop me from using the glorious Thermemes?
>water coolant...
last nvidia card i had was the 6800 (when you could unlock shaders), amd ever since. i ain't mad

You realize that 20% clock increases are basically nothing, right? 980s can (and do) clock up around that much at 100% stock settings. With the improvements that Pascal is bringing it would not be unreasonable to see those clocks and temps on average, assuming you don't live in the fucking desert.
