i used a cassette tape walkman, but by the time portable cd players got cheap i stopped listening to music on the go
i did pick one up at one point (i forget what model it was, it was silver with a 60 second anti-skip), but didn't really use it (never took it anywhere)
I had a Technics something or other.
My father got this on vacation, it cost a lot for a cd player. Its pretty thin and beautiful, also solid.
Recently wanted to use it, replacement batteries cost 70€
