Does windows update even worth? Everytime I do it, it always fucks up and "reverts changes" only to be stuck there for a ridiculous or even to the point it's frozen.
I already use both Antivirus and Mal ware protection and most of the time, my computer runs fine without doing them.
Seriously, if I didn't play games on my computer I'd say duck windows

update hardware drivers, net framework shit and play your games. no need for other windows updates.
Im sick of it too, it takes a day for it to find updates after fresh install, a day to install it and sometimes something goes wrong, reverting changes..its faster to do a fresh install again.
no more updates. Malwarebytes once in a week is enough to keep the system clean.

Like this is the 3rd time I've been trying to do these updates (separate occasions), only to either take a unnecessary amount of time or having to use my backup. Yeah I get a few done, but there's one that fucks it up.

updates are the reason i use linux. I just tell people its muh freedom or better but in reality my pc is just firefox/dota/libreoffice machine so its better to run ubuntu for sake of fast updates and security.

1. stop using win 7. it is fucking outdated. grow up and get 10
2. get decent internet service.
3. set it to find updates, but ask your permission before install.
4. select a handful at a time, do it in bursts not one big assload.
5. get it fully up to date and set to automatic.

Windows 10 is pure cancer, bloated spying advertismental piece of cancer. Win7 ultimate can do everything you will ever need. Its fast, stable and you can make it do what you want, not the other way.
Stay away from windows10 like its the pest. There is a reason why its free.

Windows 10 is fine. Bloat is nonsense considering 20gb installation footprint on 1tb drives is nothing.
