your best bet is probably to just rig a step up converter from the car battery to charge your laptop. UPSes are great but largely inefficient, especially when you're going DC -> AC -> DC just to charge your laptop. You'll have plenty of power to spare with it.
A good setup for a sizeable powerbank and small solar panel that you can set out all day will run you like $130. that solar panel there might be fine too.

as I said before, there's loss going from a DC battery to generating a 110V/220V back to ~19V or whatever your laptop uses. There's two big factors going into play, relative load over time and quality of the transformer. For cheap shit you're looking at like 50% to 75% loss to AC alone, let alone however inefficient your laptop charger is. All that heat from the charger while charging? Power being wasted as heat, which is most of the loss. The more you have to convert power the more you'll lose.
Your ideal solution is something that stays DC.
