From what I understand I want everything on my hdd and only the games I want to play on the ssd. After I erased all files I have like 20 gbs on my ssd. Should that be switched over? If so how

How do I direct all downloads to hdd? Like if I saved something to desktop how do I get it to save to hdd instead of ssd.
