Hey /g/ I'm thinking about getting the Lenovo Ideapad 100s this Thursday for shitposting on the go and in preparation for next year at college taking notes and what not, have any of you had experience with this laptop? Is it a good buy? If not what would you recommend.
There are websites that offer consumer reviews and advice. This is not one of them.
You could try a search of the web, or ask in the stupid questions thread. Either way, you should probably delete this thread.

I own as asus t100ta with similar specs.
Great for shitposting, great for watching videos on the go. battery life is good, expect around 10 hours.
Expect dogshit linux support though. It's cheap though, and it performs well. build quality seemed solid when I checked it out at jb Hi-Fi, do recommend.

I'm shitposting on one right now. It aint fancy, UEFI sucks balls, and you can't run too many things at once, but it is a solid little netbook. Streams audio and video just fine and the battery life is pretty fucking awesome.
If you already have a desktop PC, it could be a great purchase, but if you won't have a computer to do actual work on, it's terrible.
The laptop is aimed at primary schools in competition to chromebooks.
If you want a device that is good for doing more than a chromebook can, SPEND MORE MONEY.

well, it's not that bad. If you don't need video games or editing and shit, it's a great device.
