Bought a T7500 workstation for $250. 24gb ram, hexacore E5645.
Supports up to almost 200GB RAM, and ECC RAM is dirt cheap.

>ECC RAM is dirt cheap.
In what universe?

I should say USED ECC RAM is cheap, because of corporations getting the next generation of servers.

Top one is ECC 1333MHz I should mention and bottom one is non-ECC 1600MHz (which my T7500 couldn't take advantage of 1600MHz anyway)
2 HD5770s for $50.
For crossfire.
GTX 960 for $50. Owner was either super desperate or stole it and didn't know what it was worth. Thanks craigslist.

Sorry for my mistake. Last time I checked for RAM update for my workstation the prices were just too much.
anyone knows where to get a dirt cheap, used netbook? I only care about battery and keyboard, vidoe playback would also be nice.

He's probably a /g/ user that saw the 1070/1080 and freaked shit. I hope it works.

No worries.

How cheap? You can get one of those dell minis for $25 I think. Then get a 60GB mushkin SSD for like $30.

fucking quads
I should mention you can get a 120GB for $40 on newegg. HDD probably wouldn't be worth getting.

Actually I rechecked and my machine eats only uDIMM ecc DDR3 which is still very expensive so no RAM uppgrade on horizon.
