Just a hour ago I was playing gta v on my pc, I had just installed a brand new msi r9 290 4g, I noticed a smell of burning plastic, looked down, saw a bright flash come out of what looked like was my gpu along with seeing some built up dust in my psu burning. upon investigation, I saw a few small resistors in my psu fried, and I also noticed a loose screw in my psu that might have caused it. I see no other visual damage to any other component (or a burned up smell). Any advice or insight?

Buy a new PSU. Next time clean your computer.

Do you think it damaged anything else though? I'm not a pro so I'm not sure (as I said couldn't see damage to anything else)
