>1000w
Are you doing 4-way sli or something?
Do you have 20 HHD?
no I just have money, and my current one is 600W and my rig keeps crapping out, might as well overkill.

Wait, before you waste money on something you might not need, tell us what you have in your PC, especially CPU and GPU.

I have tons of money, my 600W PSU stops working with only my 970. Its probably just the PSU itsself and not the wattage, but who cares. Whats the problem, I don't care how much it costs i'm just asking for advice on specific products

Choose here: http://www.overclock.net/t/183810/faq-recommended-power-supplies
spend $150 on the new Modular titanium 600W from Silverstone.
It's not stupid wattage, but it IS overpriced to sate your desire to waste money.

20 HDDs doesn't require anything near 1000W.

groovy, thanks guys. I will waste my money well.
>>54421647
side note: anything similar thats maybe... 750 ish or so?
And If I were to crossfire 2x r9 390 with i5 4690k, what would be the recommended psu? Something around 750? Or should I go for more cause amd?

they do 600, 700, 800.
All 80+ titanium, brand new models just released. All pretty expensive.

Great thanks anon. Feels good to have a job and no responsibilities
>>54421842
I just spent almost $2,400 on a new build i didn't even particularly need, so I know the feeling.
Coincidentally i got the 600w titanium unit mentioned earlier.

Hello brother, are you young as well? 22 making 6 figures, feelsgoodman. I'll grab that one I reckon
>>54421967
im 22 and I made decent 5 figures from a settlement from a car accident I was in. I've got enough that even though im not making a lot of money from my job (its not terrible though), I have more than enough in savings that I can splurge on things when i want to.

enjoy the new PSU mate, you can see mine in the corner.
would also recommend the custom sleeved extensions if you want to look fancy.
