if that were actually true, I would for the first time ever consider buying an Xbox.
I have an Alienware Alpha "Gaming" PC but with it's mobile class GPU it can't really run any games newer than 2012. I mostly use it to watch anime on. If I could get a cheap HTPC that could actually run games too, that'd be worth buying.

I think what Microsoft means by this is you'll be able to debug/test your apps on an Xbox One console, and don't need a special devkit box.
