Ah, in that case I suppose the need for more would make sense. The X34 has definitely made it feel like I got my moneys worth, but the screen I had before was just a basic 1080p60hz TN panel. Any premium display would probably give me the same satisfaction after that. The IPS panel especially really makes quite the significant difference though, It's a real pleasure to look at. The 21:9 is really lovely and the increase to 100hz is a nice bonus too in those rare cases where I still play games.

Eh , maybe but the thing is I built two machines with those amd specs I mentioned and the issue happened on both computers. I assume the amd cpu bottlenecked my gpu. Will not take the risk again. Will never get an amd or power color product again.

The 6300 is a 3core CPU. Also Power Color is CRAP. Sapphire is the only one to go with AMD GPU's.

uhhh no, it's still a westemere EP 32nm core, single core performance will be on par with an i7-920 and similar era intel CPUs.

Nothing to write home about, but far better than pentium 3 or 4, or even core 2.

>>
>>54410715
I do trust MSI products and sapphire does look promising. Maybe I'll try again if a friend needs help with building a computer, I'll just make sure to do in depth research.
The issue I was having was where if I did any thing more than YouTube watching and light gaming my driver would crash and not come back until a reboot and also my cpu commonly hit 100%.

I thought that that 3.5 gtx970 meme would hurt me but in happy with the stability. Also enjoying the hyperthreadimg capability and Cuda cores. That's why I chose Intel and nVidia for the most part.
>>
>>54410781
AMD is bang for buck, price/performance without compromises, that's what's good about AMD.

Semi-related.

depends what you're doing retard. Compare the specs, if you need a feature specifically for your use case (built in Wifi, extra USB ports, more PCI-E ports, etc etc) then buy the motherboard with the features you need/want.

If you have no specific things you want from a motherboard and just want something simple and basic that works, get the cheapest motherboard that is compatible with your CPU and has good reviews from a decent company
>>
>>54411030

Z170 and Z170A are in general listed as recommended in case of LGA 1151 socket.

I just hoped that there is more balanced, in terms of performance/ratio solution.
