You need to configure your browser to store its cache on that drive.
You don't. Just buy more RAM and make virtual RAM drives that load images of stuff on boot. It's not too expensive either, 16GB 2*8GB RAM kits are around $50 now.
Even the fastest SSD is no match for for a single channel DDR3 1600MHz RAM stick (12.8GB/s).

I'd like to interject for a moment. Whom you are referring to as Akari, is in fact Akarin, or as I've recently taken to calling Akaza Akarin. Akari is not her name on it's own, but rather another important component of a complete identity Blank Room/Akarin as defined by YRYR.
