Hey there /g/, I've just been on logical increments and picked the parts I want for my PC. Since this is my first time doing this I just wanted to make sure I'm not being retarded and making some huge mistakes. Here's the list...

These guys have a point. Just list the names of the parts and we'll know what they are. Almost everybody here has built a PC at least one point in their lives.

>>54396046
You could at least have removed all that ref shit

Alright, I thought having the Amazon links would be more informative but anyway here.

it works, but don't buy Win 7, instead pirate it and use Daz loader to activate it and upgrade to Windows 10.

Get faster ram, Skylake scales amazing with fast ram.

Get a better case like a Define R5, don't get windowed shit get something with sound dampening.

Don't get a GTX 980Ti, Nvidia is going to announce new cards tomorrow.

1080 is already benched. Worse than 980Ti and all but definitely has heat issues becuase "lol Fermi went so well let's do that again lmao".
>>
>>54401544
yeah, but regardless of the 1080's performance and polaris/pascal in general, the cost of OP's card is going to drop at least 15-25% in the next month as a result

20% faster than 980Ti at stock clocks.

Overclock 980Ti is still slower by 3%.

Aftermarket 1080 should be able to hit at least 400mhz more on core.
>>
>>54401579
Price drops don't just /happen/, it's a matter of supply:demand.
>lower demand for 1080
>higher demand for 980Ti
>no price drop
This has happened three times now, AMD twice and Nvidia once. Prepare yourself.
>>
>>54401657
This is some advanced bait you're slinging. Does it work on anyone but /v/?
>>
>>54401194
With the case you suggested it doesn't seem like I can insert an internal Blu-ray player, though then again I don't mind buying an external one. Also with windows 10 I've been hearing it's still incompatible with a lot of programes and games, is this true? Also what type of ram would you suggest?
