An operating system made in node? That's retarded. What's next, are they gonna make a node based text editor?
No, this shit's gotta be a joke.
The logo has uneven spacing like it the elements were placed by hand
What the fuck.

You'd probably think the same thing about Chromebooks, but those sell like crazy.
Cool project.

>>54382299

>>54382299
I don't get it. What's the point? I mean, why would someone want this?
>>54382881
You can go on facebook dot com and check your email. That's what most people use it for.

I work for a school district and we have 10,000 of them deployed. And we're going to deploy more of them as well. This is becoming a common occurrence because Chrome devices are incredibly easy to manage.
For the average person they're great devices. Damn near everything can be done in a web browser these days.

I'm actually a guy that is really open to all kinds of technology, even if it doesn't make sense but Javascript, nodejs, electron and everything that comes with it is pure cancer
>haha le javascript hipsters working at starbucks, I'm so much superior for coding in pure C and assembly!
I'll just leave this here....

>>54383341
I think he's got you there straight in the source code darwin.

RedoxOS actually seems very interesting.
I wouldn't be surprised if the next big open source OS is written in Rust.
>>54382299
why would they do that
>>54382299
actually somewhat interesting.
>the current year
>not using OSU

>What's next, are they gonna make a node based text editor?
Can't tell if you were being ironic, but Github's Atom is exactly that.
>>54384817
Also it's actually not that bad, except for when it turns my Thinkpad into a Macbook and burns my house down.
