Current 120Hz+ full array LED backlit LCD's are the best combination of response time, longevity, color reproduction, contrast ratio, form factor, etc.

Plasma's do some things better but are absolute shit at other things (longevity, burn in, form factor).

OLED tv's are still far too expensive to be practical and there are still major concerns about their longevity and color balance as time goes on.
