You can't do "sudo echo", use " su" to login to root and echo there

Why on earth would you start a new shell just to run an echo command? Surely it's much more obvious, since echo's in coreutils, to run

sudo env echo

?

I tend to do this when writing to files

echo 'fuck' | sudo tee file.txt
# appending to file
echo 'tyts' | sudo tee -a file.txt

You can also use tee to pipe to other shit
