Hey /g/, so I'm trying to get past my university's firewall so i can torrent some shit. I was using tribler before, but it suddenly won't connect. Tor and tunnelbear won't work either. Any ideas?

Get a vpn dumbass
>>54314210
Use a vps and host your own vpn

Get an unlisted tor bridge

What's an unlisted tor bridge?
Don't torrent over Tor if you know what's good for you. Tor will leak your IP to people and will slow down the network for everyone.

Fuck, well i'll cross that off the list. I can't even get it to connect to the network anyway, so it's useless

How do I host my own vpn using gentoo, anon?

>spoonfeed me plz
Fuck off

Google is a wonderful thing
Try PIA's tcp ip openvpn config
>>54314554
theres a easy OpenVPN installer script on github search those words on Google and use that.

OP here. I got Tor through using a bridge, so thanks to that anon. I've tried Kproxy and Openvpn and nothing connects. I'm not sure what's going on, but they were configured correctly.

Make a torrent box out of a raspberry pi and put it in your parents house, then transfer the files to yourself from it. That's the best way to torrent on University internet.

can't you use a traditional VPN?
Tor will work if its properly configured, but its a dick move to load the network like that and you'll get 150kbps download speeds.

Or rent a seedbox online. Those shouldn't be blocked.

So does the decentralised thing for tribler work yet?

What are you still doing at university? Graduation is next week.
