Where are those 4 dots from? I noticed something about their placement just now and completely forgot where the dots are from.
Anyway, I noticed it kind of looks like tic tac toe, and it looks as if the winner drew a little dot man bowing at the loser. Anyone else see it?

If I could elaborate on how I'm going to explain this to my son, I will show him that the winner creates a segmentation fault and stays on the still operable end of the data table. Glider is a stupid choice. What does it even mean to you personally, aside from US NERDS? It's like getting a tattoo of Euler's identity. Just get a T-shirt if you care that much.

People not in the field tend to treat anything "hacker" like shit. This coupled with the already reticent nature of the individual driven to computers makes it easy for these "hackers" to seek/find a sense of identity within the workings of their muse, the computer. One common culture is the hacker culture, with its own select set of glyphs, symbols and other assorted functors of the reality they've chosen to subject.
Glider would probably be more like tattooing a picture of a bird to their chest/neck or wings on their back.
Eulers identity would be more like getting a target drawn on you.
