I really like my bar cluttered for some reason, it never gets annoying. You can get original Vista for free now. I would go straight to 7 or 8.1 if possible. 8.1 runs better even on old systems, like my Phenom I build which originally ran Vista x32.

I would easily go with Vista or even 7 x86 with this but the GPU won't run Aero (Radeon Mobility 9000).
Vista Inspirat comes from some old XP ricing site (stylexp.org I think? Google Vista Inspirat 2 and you'll see) and it's a pretty nice try at making XP look like Vista.
Anyways,this time I'm dualbooting Ubuntu. Not sure if 16.04 will work but I'll give it a try once it's downloaded,since I have a GbE connection (yay).
