Hi /g/ bear in mind that english is not my native language.

I've been thinking about making some changes in my life, I always used Windows and Firefox, only Gmail since a little child.

What's your REAL opinion on using Google services? I mean, Nexus Phones, YouTube channel, Google Now, history on Chrome (and sync, etc).


I'm on that dilemma, is it "safe" to use all Google services? going to install Arch (KDE Plasma 5) on next week to forget about Windows (but I need some programs like Office for college, Mp3tag and other shit like that) and not sure if install and use all the things that Google gives (I'm interested in Google Now since all the sites and companies track us, but turning all things on for it to work... it's scary)

Embrace or not the botnet?

I personally don't give a shit but if google bothers you, install a custom rom like cyanogenmod, get firefox, gapps browser, and use F droid and aptoide for your app needs
