What are some of your favorite libraries?
I like Python's NetworkX
Depends on what I need to do.
Eigen3 is pretty useful.
Qt is good too.
OpenCV is also good.
Depends on what you need to do really
NaCl
J-Jquery
boost
requests, html5lib, beautifulsoup4, PySide, Selenium, Selenium-Requests, Pillow, MechanicalSoup (have yet to try)
It's a really small thing, but I like the Naught gem in ruby. Takes something that normally feels like a chore to me (coming up with Null Objects of core domain entities) and makes it feel fun.

BS4 love <3
Urwid is really cool
http://urwid.org
Builds on ncurses to provide a modern GUI toolkit with widgets and events (closer to say Qt than doing it the old fashioned way in ncurses)

How is Python as a Mathematica replacement? How about MATLAB or R (these three are all quite different)?
